Microlot Single Origin Coffee
San Luis Micromill is a family-run business operated by siblings Alexander and Magali Delgado and their spouses in Grecia, West Valley. To enhance quality and stay competitive, they replaced their older coffee stock about four years ago with over ten different varieties, including Caturra, Red and Orange Bourbon, SL-28, Catuai, Villa Sarchi, and Maragogype. The small mill is located at the family home just a few miles away. After harvest, coffee cherries are brought directly to the family home, where they process them using washed, honey, and natural methods. As is common in Costa Rica, the type of honey process at San Luis is determined by the amount of mucilage left on the beans after de-pulping.
